Osher Scholars Award I

The Osher Scholarship will be awarded to a student who is enrolled in 12 or more units during the Fall and Spring semesters. The student must demonstrate great financial need, which receives priority. Financial need will be determined by the California Promise fee waiver. The applicant must be making satisfactory progress toward a degree, however performance will not be considered by selection committee. The student must have completed at least 24 units of degree applicable College level courses (numbered 100) and above and enrolled in a minimum of 12 units for the semester. If the number of students have the same financial need and meet the requirements above exceeds the number of scholarship available, then, awards shall be made in the order of receipt of applications. First-come, first-serve basis. If a student fails to complete the range of units for which they were awarded during the semester following the first scholarship payment, that student will not be eligible for the remaining scholarship amount. A maximum of $3,600 in total may be awarded to an Osher Scholar.
